I loved this article. What I loved most was, that across denominational lines, the article indicated that the women “have a relationship” with The Creator that involves them speaking to, singing to, chanting to the source of all things until they can feel the satisfaction and peace from the contact made. The seriousness of their conviction seems to come from the results they gain; not from ‘hocus pocus’ nor intellectual logic, void of results. It reveals that ‘old time relationship’ which “that old time religion” provided for us, allowing us to weather and survive that old time bondage. The lineage of this level of practical faith is a treasure within our community that, sooner or later, gives us all nourishment, shelter and direction, as a residual gained by us all, from the subliminal effects of their actions presence.
